Located in Raleigh hills, this 1960's ranch home was completely remodeled with gorgeous custom cabinetry and professional grade appliances. The Bayless project took most of this room down to the studs, preserving only the existing wainscoting on the ceiling to help ground the high performance appliances. The bay windows neatly frame the kitchen sink contributing to the period feel.
The kitchen cabinetry rises to the ceiling with many custom features including stacked crown molding, accent corbels beside the range, basket drawers and tambour appliance garages. Glass doors highlight special pieces for display and a full size pantry provides plenty of space for the things better kept behind doors. Choosing drawers rather than doors for the lower cabinetry increased accessibility even further and the finished kitchen has a formidable amount of storage.
The appliances include a full size 8 burner Viking range with hood vent to fit it's large scale, built in refrigerator and microwave, and wine fridge in the bar area.
